Summary

CVE-2023-43082 is a vulnerability affecting Dell Unity versions prior to 5.3. This issue permits a man-in-the-middle attack against the vmadapter component. An attacker who manages to obtain a CA-signed certificate from a third-party Certificate Authority can then spoof the vCenter CA, leading to potential security breaches. Organizations using Dell Unity are advised to update to the latest version or take appropriate measures to secure their certificates against such attacks.
