Summary
CVE-2023-4300 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting the Import XML and RSS Feeds plugin for WordPress before version 2.1.4. The issue stems from insufficient file extension filtering, granting attackers the ability to upload malicious PHP files when using the plugin. Successful exploitation could result in arbitrary code execution on the targeted WordPress site. Upgrading to the latest plugin version mitigates this risk.
