Summary
CVE-2023-42894 is a vulnerability affecting multiple versions of macOS. This issue allows certain applications to gain unauthorized access to a user's contact information. Apple addressed this problem by enhancing the redaction of sensitive data. macOS Sonoma 14.2, macOS Ventura 13.6.3, and macOS Monterey 12.7.2 have been updated to include this fix.
