Summary
CVE-2023-4284 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting the Post Timeline WordPress plugin before version 2.2.6. This issue permits Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks since the plugin does not properly sanitize and escape an invalid nonce in an AJAX response. The vulnerability puts high privilege users, such as administrators, at risk of being targeted, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft.
