Summary
CVE-2023-42752 is an integer overflow vulnerability affecting the Linux kernel. This flaw causes the kernel to allocate `skb_shared_info` in userspace, which can be exploited on systems without Supervisor Mode Access Protection (SMAP). Since `skb_shared_info` contains function pointers, a successful exploit could lead to code injection and subsequent privilege escalation.
