Summary
CVE-2023-42451 is a high-severity vulnerability that affects Mastodon, a free and open-source social network server based on ActivityPub. Versions prior to 3.5.14, 4.0.10, 4.1.8, and 4.2.0-rc2 are vulnerable to domain name spoofing under certain circumstances due to a flaw in domain name normalization.
