Summary
CVE-2023-42426 is a newly-discovered cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Froala Froala Editor version 4.1.1. This issue permits remote attackers to inject malicious code into a webpage by exploiting the 'Insert link' parameter in the 'Insert Image' component. Successful exploitation could lead to unintended execution of arbitrary code, potentially resulting in serious security implications for affected systems. Users are strongly advised to upgrade to the latest version of the Froala Editor to mitigate this risk.
