Details
Summary
CVE-2023-41941 is a vulnerability affecting the Jenkins AWS CodeCommit Trigger Plugin version 3.0.12 and earlier. This issue arises from a missing permission check, enabling attackers with Overall/Read access to enumerate AWS credentials IDs that are stored within Jenkins. This means that an attacker can potentially gain unauthorized access to other AWS services associated with the affected Jenkins instance. The vulnerability poses a significant risk, especially in environments where access control is not strictly enforced. It is strongly recommended that users update to the latest version of the plugin to mitigate this issue.
