Summary
CVE-2023-41909 is a vulnerability affecting FRRouting (FRR) versions up to 9.0. This issue is caused by a flaw in the bgp_nlri_parse_flowspec function within the bgpd/bgp_flowspec.c module. Maliciously crafted requests with no attributes can trigger a NULL pointer dereference, leading to potential crashes or even remote code execution in some scenarios. Network administrators are advised to upgrade to the latest version of FRR or apply relevant patches to mitigate this risk.
