Summary
CVE-2023-41810 is a Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Pandora FMS versions 700 through 773. This issue arises due to improper neutralization of user input during web page generation. An attacker can exploit this flaw by injecting malicious JavaScript code into some Widgets' text boxes, enabling unauthorized script execution in users' web browsers. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to information disclosure or even takeover of affected user sessions. To mitigate this risk, users are advised to update their Pandora FMS installations to the latest available version.
