Summary

CVE-2023-41800 is a stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting version 1.4.2 of the UniConsent UniConsent CMP for GDPR, CPRA, and GPP TCF plugin. An attacker can exploit this admin privilege vulnerability by injecting malicious scripts into a user's web browser via a specially crafted consent request. Successful exploitation could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive user data or the ability to execute arbitrary code. Organizations using this plugin are advised to upgrade to a patched version as soon as possible to mitigate the risk of potential attacks.
