Summary

CVE-2023-41679 is an improper access control vulnerability (CWE-284) that affects FortiManager management interface versions 7.2.0 through 7.2.2, 7.0.0 through 7.0.7, 6.4.0 through 6.4.11, and 6.2 all versions, as well as certain other products listed in the source text. This vulnerability may allow a remote and authenticated attacker, with at least "device management" permission and belonging to a specific ADOM, to add and delete CLI scripts on other ADOMs. The potential danger to organizations is high, with a base severity rating of HIGH and base score of 8.5 according to the CVSS:3.1 vector string provided in the source text.
