Summary
CVE-2023-41349 is a vulnerability affecting the ASUS router RT-AX88U. This issue involves the use of externally controllable format strings within the Advanced OpenVPN function. An authenticated attacker can exploit this vulnerability by manipulating the exported OpenVPN configuration. The consequences of this attack can range from sensitivity information leakage to a permanent denial of service by forcing the device to reset.
