Summary
CVE-2023-4133 is a use-after-free vulnerability affecting the cxgb4 driver in the Linux kernel. When the cxgb4 device is being detached, a possible rearming of the flower_stats_timer from the work queue can lead to this issue. Consequently, a local user can exploit this flaw to crash the system, resulting in a denial of service condition. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to Linux systems running the affected driver and requires immediate attention from system administrators to apply the necessary patches.
