Summary
CVE-2023-41316, also known as Tolgee, is an open-source localization platform that is affected by a vulnerability. This vulnerability allows bad actors to inject HTML code into unsanitized emails from the Tolgee instance to other users. The injected HTML appears in invitation emails, which can deceive users into thinking they are receiving legitimate organization invitations. Exploiting this vulnerability, bad actors can direct users to malicious websites or execute JavaScript in the context of the user's browser. The vulnerability has been addressed in version 3.29.2, and users are advised to upgrade to this version. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
