Summary
CVE-2023-41282 is a newly discovered operating system command injection vulnerability that affects several QNAP versions of QTS, QuTS hero, and QuTScloud. This issue enables authenticated administrators to inject and execute commands via a network, potentially resulting in significant security risks. The vulnerability has already been addressed in QTS 5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.4.2596 build 20231128 and later, and QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and later. Users are strongly advised to update their systems to mitigate this threat.
