Summary
CVE-2023-41275 is a vulnerability that affects several QNAP operating system versions. The vulnerability allows authenticated administrators to execute code via a network by exploiting a buffer copy without checking the size of input. The affected products include QTS 5.1.2.2533 build 20230926 and earlier, QuTS hero h5.1.2.2534 build 20230927 and earlier, QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and earlier, as well as various other product versions listed in the source text. The vulnerability has been fixed in QTS 5.1.2.2533 build 20230926 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.2.2534 build 20230927 and later, and QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and later versions of the affected products provided by QNAP Security team to remediate this vulnerability which poses a medium level danger to organizations if exploited.
