Summary

CVE-2023-41274 is a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability that affects several versions of the QNAP operating system. This vulnerability, if exploited, could allow authenticated administrators to launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack through a network. The vulnerability has been fixed in QTS 5.1.2.2533 build 20230926 and later, QuTS hero h5.1.2.2534 build 20230927 and later, and QuTScloud c5.1.5.2651 and later versions. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is a DoS attack that could disrupt the functioning of an organization's network infrastructure.
