Summary
CVE-2023-41267: In the Apache Airflow HDFS Provider, an issue was discovered where outdated documentation incorrectly suggested users install an unclaimed pip package. An attacker could theoretically claim this package and inject malicious code during installation. Fortunately, the Airflow team has since taken ownership of the package and resolved the issue in version 4.1.1. Previously unsuspecting users were at risk of installing unintended code through this vulnerability.
