Summary
CVE-2023-41115 is a vulnerability affecting EnterpriseDB Postgres Advanced Server versions before 11.21.32, 12.x before 12.16.20, 13.x before 13.12.16, 14.x before 14.9.0, and 15.x before 15.4.0. This issue arises due to a flaw in the UTL_ENCODE function. An authenticated user can manipulate this function to bypass permissions and access any large object within the system. This vulnerability poses a significant risk to data security and confidentiality. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest patched versions as soon as possible to mitigate this issue.
