Summary

CVE-2023-41053 is a vulnerability in Redis, an in-memory database that persists on disk. The vulnerability affects Redis versions 7.0 or newer and allows users executing the `SORT_RO` command to gain unauthorized access to keys that are not explicitly authorized by the Access Control List (ACL) configuration. This vulnerability has been fixed in Redis versions 7.0.13 and 7.2.1, so users are advised to upgrade to these versions. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. The potential danger posed by this vulnerability is rated as low, with a base severity score of 3.3 out of 10, according to NIST's National Vulnerability Database (NVD).
