Summary
CVE-2023-41043 affects versions prior to 3.1.1 of Discourse's `stable` branch and 3.2.0.beta1 of the `beta` and `tests-passed` branches. An exploit allows malicious admins in multisite installations to generate oversized icon sprites, which in turn causes server processes to crash and result in downtime. This vulnerability is resolved in the aforementioned patched versions. It's important to note that no action is required when the admins are trusted.
