Summary
CVE-2023-4104 is a vulnerability affecting the Mozilla VPN client for Linux versions prior to 2.16.1. It arises from an invalid Polkit authentication check and the absence of mandatory authentication requirements for certain D-Bus methods. Consequently, any local user can manipulate VPN configurations despite lacking the necessary permissions. This issue is exclusive to the Linux platform.
