Summary

CVE-2023-41032 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting multiple versions of Parasolid, including V34.1, V35.0, V35.1, and V36.0, as well as Simcenter Femap V2301 and V2306. This issue stems from an out-of-bounds write vulnerability in the handling of specially crafted X_T files. The flaw allows an attacker to write data beyond the allocated structure, potentially leading to code execution in the context of the current process. Versions V34.1.258, V35.0.253, V35.1.184, V36.0.142, V2301.0003, and V2306.0001 are not affected.
