Summary
A vulnerability with the CVE ID CVE-2023-40729 has been discovered in QMS Automotive versions prior to V12.39. This vulnerability allows for unencrypted communication without HTTPS, leaving the application susceptible to manipulation or theft of confidential information. The potential danger lies in the fact that an attacker who gains a machine-in-the-middle position can exploit this vulnerability.
