Summary
CVE-2023-40576 is a vulnerability affecting FreeRDP, an open-source implementation of the Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). The issue lies in the `RleDecompress` function where FreeRDP fails to verify the length of the `pbSrcBuffer` variable before processing it. This Out-Of-Bounds Read vulnerability can lead to errors or crashes due to insufficient data in `pbSrcBuffer`.
