Summary
CVE-2023-40461 is a vulnerability affecting the ACEManager component of ALEOS 4.16 and earlier versions. This issue grants authenticated users with Administrator privileges the ability to upload files with malicious scripts to a specific field, bypassing name validation. This results in a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability, allowing attackers to inject malicious code into a targeted website, potentially leading to unauthorized access or data theft.
