Summary

CVE-2023-4010 is a vulnerability found in the USB Host Controller Driver framework in the Linux kernel. This flaw is related to the usb_giveback_urb function, which has a logic loophole in its implementation. As a result, when a specific malformed descriptor file is inputted, the function falls into an endless loop and cannot return, leading to a denial of service.
