Summary
CVE-2023-39526 is a critical vulnerability affecting versions of PrestaShop, an open source e-commerce web application, prior to 1.7.8.10, 8.0.5, and 8.1.1. The vulnerability allows for remote code execution through SQL injection and arbitrary file write in the back office. Versions 1.7.8.10, 8.0.5, and 8.1.1 have been patched to address the issue, but there are no known workarounds available at this time. This vulnerability poses a high risk to organizations as it could be exploited by attackers to execute malicious code and potentially gain unauthorized access to sensitive data or disrupt the affected systems' availability.
