CVE-2023-39524

Summary

CVE-2023-39524 is a vulnerability affecting the open source PrestaShop e-commerce application. Before version 8.1.1, the product search field on the back office's product page was susceptible to SQL injection attacks. Successful exploitation of this issue could lead to unauthorized data access or modification. Version 8.1.1 includes a patch to address the vulnerability, and there are currently no known workarounds for users still running affected versions. It is recommended that all PrestaShop installations be updated to the latest version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
