Summary

CVE-2023-39424 is a vulnerability in the RDPngFileUpload.dll component of the IRM Next Generation booking system. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to upload arbitrary content, such as a web shell component, to the SQL database and execute it with SYSTEM privileges. The attacker would require authentication to exploit this vulnerability, but it can be combined with another vulnerability (CVE-2023-39420) that grants access to hardcoded credentials to carry out the attack without assigned credentials. The exploitability score for this vulnerability is 3.1 out of 10, with a base severity of CRITICAL. It poses a high risk to organizations, with potential impacts on confidentiality and integrity being rated as HIGH.
