Summary

CVE-2023-39364 is a vulnerability in Cacti 1.2.24, an open source operational monitoring and fault management framework. It allows users with console access to be redirected to an arbitrary website after changing their password through a specifically crafted URL. This can be exploited through phishing messages, where users may unknowingly interact with malicious websites, potentially leading to the download of malware or the disclosure of credentials. The issue has been addressed in version 1.2.25, and users are advised to upgrade as there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
