Summary

CVE-2023-39361 is a new SQL injection vulnerability affecting versions of Cacti, an open-source network monitoring tool. The issue lies in the graph_view.php file, which is accessible to guests by default without authentication. This vulnerability exposes the risk of significant damage if exploited, including the potential for administrative privilege usurpation or remote code execution. The vulnerability has been resolved in version 1.2.25, and it is strongly recommended that users upgrade as soon as possible. At present, there are no known workarounds for this vulnerability.
