Summary

CVE-2023-39346 is a vulnerability in Linux ASMCallGraph, a software used for drawing call graphs of programming code. The vulnerability allows attackers to execute remote code on the server side by uploading a maliciously crafted ZIP file, due to incorrect filtering rules for uploaded files. The issue has been patched in commit 20dba06bd1a3cf260612d4f21547c25002121cd5. There are no known workarounds. This vulnerability has a high base severity score of 8.8 and poses a potential danger to organizations as it can lead to unauthorized remote code execution, compromising the integrity and confidentiality of the affected server.
