Summary
CVE-2023-39320 is a vulnerability affecting the go.mod toolchain directive in Go 1.21. This issue allows an attacker to execute scripts and binaries relative to the root of a module, posing a risk when the "go" command is run within the module. This vulnerability applies to modules obtained through the "go" command from a module proxy, as well as those downloaded using version control software. The exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to arbitrary code execution, potentially compromising the system.
