Summary
CVE-2023-39186 is a vulnerability that affects Solid Edge SE2023 versions prior to V223.0 Update 7. The vulnerability allows for an out of bounds read while parsing specially crafted DFT files, which could potentially enable an attacker to execute code within the current process. This vulnerability has a high severity rating and poses a danger to organizations using the affected versions of Solid Edge SE2023. To remediate the vulnerability, it is recommended to update to V223.0 Update 7 or later versions of the software.
