Summary
CVE-2023-39183 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting all versions of Solid Edge SE2023 below V223.0 Update 7. This issue stems from an out of bounds read error in the applications' processing of PSM files. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by crafting malicious PSM files that trigger the error. Once triggered, the attacker could potentially execute malicious code in the context of the current process. This poses a significant risk, particularly in enterprise environments where Solid Edge SE2023 is widely used. Immediate patching is advised to mitigate this threat.
