Summary

CVE-2023-39018 is a code injection vulnerability discovered in FFmpeg versions 0.7.0 and below. The vulnerability exists in the net.bramp.ffmpeg.FFmpeg.<constructor> component and can be exploited by passing an unchecked argument. Multiple third parties dispute the existence of realistic use cases where FFmpeg.java uses untrusted input for the executable file path.
