Summary
CVE-2023-38877 is a host header injection vulnerability affecting gugoan's Economizzer version 0.9-beta1 and commit 3730880 (April 2023). An attacker can exploit this flaw by crafting a malicious host header and sending it in a password reset request. As a result, the user is redirected to an attacker-controlled server, leading to the leakage of password reset tokens. This vulnerability potentially enables an attacker to reset other users' passwords unauthorizedly.
