CVE-2023-38876 is a reflected cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability found in msaad1999's PHP-Login-System 2.0.1. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the web browser of a user by injecting a malicious payload into the 'selector' parameter in '/reset-password'. The affected product is 't0Ik8a'. To remediate this vulnerability, it is recommended to update to a newer version of PHP-Login-System that includes a fix for this issue. The potential danger of this vulnerability lies in the ability for attackers to execute malicious code in users' browsers, leading to potential data theft, unauthorized access, and other security breaches within an organization.
