Summary

CVE-2023-38706 is a vulnerability that affects the Discourse open-source discussion platform. Specifically, versions prior to 3.1.1 of the 'stable' branch and version 3.2.0.beta1 of the 'beta' and 'tests-passed' branches are susceptible. The vulnerability allows a malicious user to create an unlimited number of drafts with very long draft keys, which can result in resource exhaustion on the server. The issue has been patched in the mentioned versions, and there are no known workarounds available.
