Summary
CVE-2023-38640 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting SICAM PAS/PQS versions greater than V8.00 but less than V8.22. The issue lies in insecure permissions for certain files and folders within the application, enabling authenticated local attackers to read and modify configuration data while running in the context of the application process.
