Summary

CVE-2023-3863 is a use-after-free vulnerability affecting the nfc_llcp_find_local function in net/nfc/llcp_core.c of the Linux kernel. This issue grants local users with elevated privileges the ability to trigger a kernel information leak. By manipulating the NFC (Near Field Communication) subsystem, an attacker could exploit this flaw to obtain sensitive information from the kernel memory. The use-after-free condition arises due to improper memory handling within the function, leading to unintended access to kernel data.
