Summary
CVE-2023-38591 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Netgear DG834Gv5 firmware version 1.6.01.34. This issue involves multiple buffer overflows that can be exploited by sending malicious input to the wla_ssid and wla_temp_ssid parameters in bsw_ssid.cgi. Successful attacks could result in arbitrary code execution and potential unauthorized access or denial-of-service conditions on affected devices.
