Summary

CVE-2023-38510 is a vulnerability that affects the Tolgee open-source localization platform. This vulnerability exists in versions 3.14.0 to 3.23.1, where the backend fails to properly verify permission scopes associated with API keys, allowing attackers to bypass permission checks for certain endpoints. However, it is important to note that this vulnerability only impacts projects that have exposed their API keys on the internet, while projects with secure API key management are not affected. The issue has been addressed and fixed in version 3.23.1 of Tolgee.
