Summary
CVE-2023-38286 is a newly identified vulnerability affecting Thymeleaf up to version 3.1.1.RELEASE, as utilized in spring-boot-admin and other products. This issue permits sandbox bypass through crafted HTML input, posing a potential risk for Server Side Template Injection (SSTI) and code execution. Notably, this vulnerability becomes more severe if the MailNotifier feature is enabled and users have write access to environment variables via the user interface.
