Summary
CVE-2023-38215 is a reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability affecting Adobe Experience Manager versions 6.5.17 and prior. Malicious JavaScript code can be executed within a victim's browser if they visit a specially crafted URL referencing a vulnerable page. This issue grants attackers the ability to steal sensitive information or take control of the victim's session. Low-privileged attackers can leverage this vulnerability to launch targeted attacks, potentially leading to serious data breaches or unauthorized access. Users are advised to update their Adobe Experience Manager installations to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
