Summary
CVE-2023-38169 is a remote code execution vulnerability affecting Microsoft SQL Server. An attacker can exploit this issue by sending specially crafted OLE DB queries to a vulnerable SQL Server instance, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the system. Successful exploitation could allow an attacker to gain control of the affected database server, potentially leading to data theft, unauthorized modifications, or other malicious activities.
