Summary
CVE-2023-38043 is a newly discovered vulnerability affecting all versions of Ivanti Secure Access Client below 22.6R1.1. This issue enables locally authenticated attackers to exploit a vulnerable configuration, possibly triggering a denial of service (DoS) condition on the user machine. In some instances, the vulnerability could even result in a full system compromise. Ivanti Secure Access Client users are strongly advised to upgrade to the patched version as soon as possible to mitigate this risk.
