Summary
CVE-2023-37954 is a newly disclosed vulnerability affecting the Jenkins Rebuilder Plugin version 320.v5a_0933a_e7d61 and older. This issue represents a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) security flaw. Malicious actors who successfully exploit this vulnerability can manipulate a user's browser into executing unintended actions, leading to the rebuilding of a previous build without the user's knowledge or consent. This poses a significant risk to application deployment processes, as an attacker could potentially rebuild an application with malicious code, leading to data breaches or other security incidents. Users are strongly encouraged to update their Jenkins Rebuilder Plugin to a patched version to mitigate this risk.
